PAMPORE: Islamic Scientific Model Institute Pampore bagged 40 medals and secured first position followed by, DcodeFuture Pampore with 30 medals and Hajjad Public School, Awantipora got third position with 25 medals in the 23rd Sqay Championship held at Islamic Scientific Model Institute Pampore.
Around 300 both boys and girls of different schools and clubs of the district Pulwama participated in the two days Championship.
SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad and SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf were present on the prize distribution ceremony.
The Chief guest also congratulated players and organisers of the Sqay Association Pulwama for holding the event in the area.
President Sqay Association Pulwama Bashir Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad- Observer, Sports Council, Organising Secretary Adil Bhat, Mohammad Ashraf- Physical Teacher, Dr. Inam Zaroo, principal and teachers of the Islamic Scientific Model Institute Pampore also present on the event.
Fallah Behboob Committee Founder Mir Murwat Hussian grand master of Sqay Federation of India Mir Nazir Ahmad and many others were present on the occasion.
The two day Championship was organised by district Pulwama Sqay Association under the Aegis of J&K Sqay Association affiliated to Sqay Federation of India.
