Sumbal: NSS Unit of the college organized an awareness cum sanitization drive on Thursday in the college campus under the fit India freedom Run 3.0
(Azadi K 75 Saal Fitness Rahe Bemesaal) The drive was formally flagged off by Prof. Bashir Ahmad Khan, senior faculty and Head Department of Commerce, accompanied By Dr. Aadil Mohi UD Din Sheikh NSS Program Officer Of the College, NSS Advisory Members, Dr. Hilal Ahmad Wani and Dr. Abida Akhtar.
Before the start of the drive Prof. Bashir Ahmad Khan Spoke about the importance and cleanliness and Fitness. Newly enrolled NSS Volunteers were given a ceremonial welcome symbolized by providing NSS Caps.
On this occasion the new entrants were reminded of various responsibilities and duties of the scheme by DR. Aadil Mohi UD Din Sheikh NSS Program Officer, Prof. Bashir Ahmad khan & Dr. Mehraj Hajini, Staff Secretary of the College.
All the Volunteers were provided Face masks & Hand Gloves before the start of the drive. The cleanliness started from main college building, both boys and Girls parks were cleaned.
During the drive many students from different semesters also joined the cleanliness drive and promised that they too will actively take part in all activities being carried out by the NSS Unit of the College.
At the end of the drive refreshment was distributed among all the NSS Volunteers by Prof. Bashir Ahmad Khan.
