PAMPORE: Naat and Qirat competition organised by Zonal Education Office Pampore held at Government Girls Middle School Tanchibagh Drangbal in Saffron Town Pampore Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
ZEO Pampore Abdul Rashid was the Chief guest on the occasion.
A number of students belonging to various institutes of Pampore Zone contested the Zonal Level Naat and Qirat competitions. Beautiful Naats were recited by the Participants.
Seemu Showkat of Higher Secondary Chandhara, Khushboo Manzoor of Satisar Education Institute and Abdul Rafiq of Higher Secondary Zantrag bagged Ist, 2nd and 3rd Position in Naat respectively. In Qirat Competition Umar Manzoor of Boys Higher Secondary School Ladhoo, Abrar Ul Haq of UPS Wahab Sahab and Bazila Ramzan of Higher Secondary Zantrag bagged Ist, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Teachers of educational institutions and various other concerned were present on the occasion.
“The students are participating in a Naat and Qirat competition,” ZEO Pampore Abdul Rashid told Kashmir Reader, adding that these students have qualified from their respective schools to reach at the zone level and from zone level best performers will qualify for district level he said.
He said that the best teachers who were well versed with art of Naat and Qirat served as judges.
