PAMPORE: Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a Motorcycle Rally as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at Pampore on Sunday.
The Tiranga Motorcycle Rally was by flagged off by SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad, SHO Pampore inprence of SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf and other police officers.A number of police personnel and some locals participated in the motorcycles rally.
The riders carrying national flags, started from police station Pampore and went through Kadlabal, New Colony and Srinagar-Jammu highway and Galander area of Pampore.The participants in the rally sang the national Anthem, patriotic songs and waved the tricolour.
As a part of creating awareness on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme, a bike rally of police personnel and locals was organized by the Pampore police from Police station Pampore, SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.
The bike rally saw the participation of over 50 police personnel along with some locals.
Meanwhile, police in Awantipora organised a tractor, bike tiranga rally as part of “Har Ghar Tiranga” programme under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative at Reshipora area of Awantipora.

The mega Tractor rally was started from Police post Reshipora which crossed via Reshipora ,Ghat Tokna ,Beighpora Padgampura , national highway and culminated at Chersoo Chowk Awantipora.

SDPO Awantipora Mumtaz Ali, SHO Reshipora Muneer Ahmad and police officers led the rally.
