Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the mother of Abid Bashir Wani, Executive Editor, Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
In a statement, the AAC on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Wani family, especially to Abid Bashir Wani.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the organisation visited the house of Abid Bashir and conveyed the message of heartfelt condolences and sympathy from Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir and prayed to Allah Almighty for granting her the highest standards in Jannat-ul-Firdous. The delegation prayed for forbearance to the bereaved family also recited the Fatiha in favour of the departed soul.
Meanwhile, the AAC expressed grief over the demise of the wife of Moulana Abdul Ghani Al-Azhari, a senior religious scholar of Kashmir and a leading Arabic scholar, former Head of the Department of Arabic, University of Kashmir. It expressed condolences and sympathy with the bereaved family members, especially with Moulana Azhari.
The organisation prayed for forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss and for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.
