SRINAGAR: Government Degree College, Pulwama nine medals including 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze in the just concluded inter-college Judo championship held at Kashmir University.
The college lifted the women’s trophy while as in the men’s category, the college was declared as the runner up.
The three day championship was organised by the Kashmir University.
GDC Pulwama students participated in different weight categories.
The participant athletes were felicitated by the college’s Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Principal of the college, Prof. Farooq A. Andrabi appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged them to bag more such medals for the college in future events. Senior faculty members of the college were present in the function
