Srinagar: A delegation of SKT group met the DC Srinagar Asad Aijaz At his office. The DC Srinagar patiently listened our demands and assured the delegation for immediate disposal of some issues, the traders said.
Bashir Ahmad Kanu, president of SKT gave a detailed presentation of issues. The meeting was attended by Sr vice president Faheem Reshi, cheif Spokesperson Arshid Naqash, President Real Alamdar Sekidafar Javaid Ahmad Bhat, Secretary Nasir Wani, Treasurer SKT Imran Khajwal, Additional General secretary Kawdara Javaid Bangroo, Sajad Ahmad and Tariq Ahmad.
Earlier, on Wednesday a SKT delegation held a meeting with Inspector General of Police Traffic Javaid Ahmad Koul.The delegation led by Bashir Ahmad Kanu president SKT and Adviser SKT Mehraj ud din Khan was present in the meeting in which various issues have been discussed including the widening of dividers at main points in downtown, demarcation of zebra crossing points and connectivity of all internal roads of Srinagar downtown by E Rickshaws.
“We have suggested some routes which will give intense relief to the people of downtown. On spot we have contacted the president of E auto Rickshaws and he can give at least 10 E autos in initially. The IGP Traffic assured us that he will discuss the issues with RTO Srinagar for the implementations of such a discussed plan,” a statement said.
The meeting was held in a very pleasant manner and the traders expected these meeting will make strong coordination between traders and administration, it said.
The delegation members include vice president SKT Mohammad faheem Reshi, Secretary SKT Nasir Wani Chief spokesperson Arshid Naqash.
