ADC Pulwama, Awantipora, Tehsildar Pampore listened grievances
PAMPORE: Tehsil office Pampore organised grievance redressal camps at Chandhara and Lethpora villages of Pampore Tehsil in Pulwama district where they listened to Public grievances.
The chaired officers issued on spot directions to the concerned officials for early redressal of the grievances.
ADC Pulwama Sheikh Aziz, ADC Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl and Tehsildar Pampore Zubair Ahmad supervised the day long grievance redressal camp.
The grievance redressal witnessed huge response wherein large number of people from Chandhara and Lethpora.
The villagers apprised the officers with their grievances, demands and issues of public importance.
The camp was attended by AEE PHE Nawaz Ahmad, ZEO Pampore Mushtaq Ahmad, TSO Pampore Ayash Farooq, AEE PDD, Javaid Ahmad, officers from R&B, Education, RDD, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and other concerned departments.
Tehsildar Pampore Zubair Ahmad Bhat told Kashmir Reader that a show cause notice will be served to those officials who were absent despite being informed before time.
During the programme many issues were raised which included Rectification in settlement of revenue records, health, education, repairing of roads, drainage system, drinking water, power, sports stadium, lights on national highway and other issues of public importance.
The officers assured the people that all their genuine demands shall be taken up for redressel.
“The main purpose of this programme was to listen to the issues of people at ground level and redress them immediately, the issues which can be solved at sub district level have been directed to concerned officers and soon they will be redressed,”ADC Pulwama, Sheikh Aziz told Kashmir Reader, adding that issues that pertain long term planning will be taken up with higher authorities for their redressel.
He also told that the issue of drainage system along national highway has been taken up with concerned departments.
