KU students, faculty members, NSS volunteers join PM’s speech in virtual mode

Srinagar: Kashmir University faculty members, students, scholars and NSS volunteers on Friday joined the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 speech of Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in virtual mode from the varsity’s Media House Auditorium.
The PPC2022 was held at Talkatora Stadium New Delhi where the Prime Minister addressed students, parents and teachers from across the country on how to beat the examination stress especially in the post-Covid19 pandemic era. The PM also spoke about the significance of the new National Education Policy-2020, among other important issues related to academics.
Nearly 15.7 lakh participants had registered in the Pariksha Pe Charcha Creative Writing Competition this year, comprising more than 12.1 lakh students, 2.7 lakh teachers and more than 90,000 parents, according to official figures.
Members of KU faculty, officers, students and NSS volunteers, on directions of the Vice-Chancellor, assembled at the Media House Auditorium and keenly listened to the Prime Minister’s speech.
Among others, the event was attended by the Registrar, Coordinator and Programme Officers of NSS KU.
