Srinagar: Indira Gandhi National Open University, Regional Centre, Srinagar participated in the programme of “Pariksha Pe Charcha” programme with the theme of “Pariksha Ki Baat PM Ke Saath” organized by the Ministry of Education Government of India.
On 1st April, 2022 at 11 AM the 5th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha event was held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. In the event Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi interacted with Kendriya Vidyala students, parents & teachers of different states and UTs. The main objectives of this event is to interact with the student fraternity to give a morale boost up and to inspire our students during the period of examinations and regarding their stress and nervousness in respect of their examination, curriculum and their futuristic plans. This event provides the open platform to the students to express their views, emotions and their aspirations in their academic activities. This is a National wide event which was addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Hon’ble Minister for Education with the participation of distinguished dignitaries, parents and the students. The students posed their questions regarding their future and their dreams in the academic aspect.
Regional Centre, Srinagar gave wide publicity to popularize the importance of this event for our youths in promoting and enhancing their confidence and small tips and tricks to skip out from stress and nervousness which generally our students face in academic activities like preparation of exams, practicals and other activities related to their studies.
The event was attended by all staff members and learners in presence of Regional Director, Regional Centre, Srinagar Dr. Kamlesh Meena.
Director IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar Dr. Kamlesh Meena said that such events are always motivating to inspire our young ignited minds for making excellence performance in their academic career.
