Budgam: The 14th Battalion, of Sashastra Seema Bal Nagam (Budgam) Jammu and Kashmir  organized a Medical Civic Action (MCA) Program at Government  High  School, Lolipora Budgam. The Camp was inaugurated by B.C. Joshi, Commandant l4th Bn SSB along with  Ashwani Kumar Second-in- Command,  Raman Lal, Deputy Commandant, 14th Bn SSB to provide free of cost medical assistance to the locals at their doorsteps. Civil Doctors of Block Hospital Nagam, District Budgam and Doctor of 14th Bn SSB & their team treated and provided free medicines to 475 local villagers including 198 male, 182 female and 95 children being treated.

Dr. Romana, Gynaecologist, Block Hospital Nagam, Dr. Mushtaq, Physician, Block Hospital Nagam, and Dr. Tarun Samyal, Assistant Commandant (Medical Officer) of 14th Bn SSB and his team have conducted medical check-up of local villagers of village Lolipora, Hafroo-Batpora, Watakaloo, Buzgoo, Leddan, Gogjipathri and provided them free medicines and prescription to improve their health.

Villagers thanked & appreciated the efforts of SSB and requested to conduct more Medical Civic Action programmes in their area.
