DHSK visits Hazratbal Shrine, Shankaracharya Temple

Reviews health care arrangements being provided to devotees

Srinagar: On the eve of Shab-e-Miraj and Mahashivratri, Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK), Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather on Tuesday visited Hazratbal Shrine and Shankaracharya Temple to take a first-hand appraisal of medical facilities being provided to devotees.
While paying obeisance at both the religious places, the director prayed for Covid free Kashmir. He was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Srinagar, Dr Jameel Mir and BMO Hazratbal, besides other concerned officers and officials of the health department.
Dr Mushtaq said that all medical facilities have been made while a 108 ambulance along with doctor and paramedical staff was deputed at Shankaracharya Temple for any kind of medical emergency.
The director took first-hand appraisal of medical facilities being provided to devotees at both the places and directed doctors and paramedical staff of the health department to take utmost care of devotees so that they don’t face any inconvenience on these auspicious occasions.
Officials of Dharmath Trust and NGOs appreciated the visit of the director and interacted with him. The director assured them full medical care support.
Shab-e-Miraj and Mahashivratri were celebrated across Kashmir with fervor and gaiety during which people thronged both the places and prayed for humanity.
