BYJU’S ‘Education For All’ brings tech-driven learning solutions for students in Uri

Srinagar: With the aim to empower and provide children an equal opportunity to learn, BYJU’S ‘Education for All’ initiative is offering students of Army Goodwill School, Uri free tablets and access to BYJU’S high-quality and tech-enabled learning programs.
This effort further enables BYJU’S vision of providing a conducive learning environment for students regardless of their geographical location and internet accessibility. With this initiative, students will be able to access the content regardless of bandwidth constraints. The learning content on the tablet is enabled on SD Cards which even work on low to no bandwidth areas.
BYJU’S strongly believes that every child must get equal access to quality education irrespective of their socio-economic background, location, and proficiency. Supporting the noble cause of Lt. Col. Naval Sharma, BYJU’S Education For All is offering learning programs for JEE and NEET aspirants who come from humble backgrounds and are facing challenges to continue their education due to the lack of proper coaching facilities in Uri. Additionally, lack of infrastructures such as proper internet connectivity and the rough terrain makes it difficult for educational institutions to reach there, which leads to the unavailability of quality learning opportunities.
Speaking about the initiative, Mansi Kasliwal, VP- Social Initiatives, BYJU’S, said, “At BYJU’S we are committed to leveraging technology to bridge the gap between educational and digital divide. Students in such remote locations and harsh terrains have to travel a long distance to even begin their learning journey. By harnessing the power of technology, we are working diligently to break the learning barriers at a large scale. With Education For All, our aim has been to bring quality education to students even in the remotest areas of the country. We are pleased to support such a noble cause and provide the necessary infrastructure to students in Uri to continue their education.”
Launched in 2020, BYJU’S ‘Education for All’ is a social impact initiative that aims at democratizing education and ensuring that every child has an opportunity to learn. This initiative is committed to empowering children in the most remote geographies and underserved communities through digital learning.
