3 Day revised basic course workshop organised by GMC Rajouri

RAJOURI: A three days Revised Basic Course Workshop (RBCW) on Medical Education Techniques and Upgradation was organized by the Medical Education Unit of Government Medical College Rajouri under the supervision & guidance of Dr Brij Mohan, Principal GMC Rajouri.
The workshop was held under the aegis of Nodal Center of National Medical Commission (NMC) at Christian Medical College Ludhiana.
Dr Chander Sheikher Sharma, coordinator MEU Associate Prof. & HOD Gynaecology & Obstetrics GMC Rajouri, was Coordinator of the Workshop while Dr Rachna Magotra, Professor Department of Anatomy GMC Jammu was the Observer from National Medical Commission for this Workshop.
Dr Chander Sheikher and other members including Dr Shalinder Sharma Orthopedics, Dr Jamil-Ul- Hassan Medicine, Dr Ravinder Malhotra Physiology, Dr Zakir Hussain Surgery, Dr Vidushi Badyal ENT, Dr Aman Sharma Pharmacology were the resource faculty for the workshop.
The Workshop was attended by 28 faculty members of GMC Rajouri as trainees. The resource faculty gave presentation and live workshop on Competency Based Medical Education (CBME), learning objective using domain of knowledge, new teaching learning methods, assessment methods and attitude, ethics & communication (AET-COM) session on OSCE/OSPE methods to check clinical competency & skills were conducted.
The primary aim of the workshop was to prepare Indian medical graduates, who are competent, updated, compassionate, ethical and useful to society.
