BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Thursday chaired a meeting of District Level Multi Departmental Task Force to regulate the rates of minerals and processed minerals.
The DC asked the officers to curb escalation of market rates of the minor and processed minerals and ensure the availability of the same at the Government notified rates.
The Committee comprising DFO Bandipora, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, District Mineral officer, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti Department for Sumbal and Bandipora held thread bare discussion regarding the prevailing rates in and outside the district.
On the occasion, the DC directed the members to go for the rationalization of the rates and revise the rates of the minor and processed minerals in the district to ensure the availability of such minerals at reasonable and government notified rates.
