Extended sympathies and solidarity to bereaved family

Baramulla: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has expressed deep shock on the sad demise of renowned educationist Prof. Mohammad Rajab Sofi of Baramulla.
In a statement, President EJAC Mohammad Rafique Rather said that the death of Prof Mohammad Rajab Sofi has come as a shock to me personally. He said that the late professor was an intellectual, writer and an academician of repute whose death has caused a void in social, cultural and linguistic circles of kashmir.
Describing Late Professor an epitome of knowledge and wisdom, Rather said that the deceased was a symbol of love, peace and brotherhood among communities and was widely respected by all shades of people.
He said that Baramulla has lost an unparalleled jem of a person who was always out to help those in need and distress and has contributed immensely in social, cultural and educational upliftment of the society in general.
While extending sympathies and solidarity to bereaved family Rafique Rather said that the entire EJAC leadership and employees fraternity of JK stand with Sofi family at this crucial juncture and
pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and courage to bear with the loss.
