PAMPORE: Pampore Chemists and Druggist Association, an affiliated Tehsil unit of J&K Chemists and Druggists Association /AIOCD, organized a grand farewell function for Outgoing Drug Controller Officer Pampore Peerzada Tasaduq Hussain who was recently transferred from Pampore to Srinagar.
Deputy Drug Controller Kashmir, Intelligence-Cum Legal Cell Nighat Jabeen, Assistant Drug Controller Pulwama/Shopian Tabasum Wani, Drug Controller Officers from Pampore, Kakapora, Pulwama, Shopian, Awantipora , Tral, Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din and other officials were present during the grand function.
All Chemists and Druggists from Pampore and other areas of Pulwama were also present on the occasion.
The Pampore Chemists and Druggist Association welcomed the chief guest and other special guests, officials told Kashmir Reader.
The Chief guest Deputy Drug Controller Kashmir Nighat Jabeen, Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din and other guest and other participants hailed outgoing Drug Controller Officer Pampore Peerzada Tasaduq Hussain for his work especially during COVID-19 in Pampore Tehsil.
Chief guest, Ex drug Controller and special guests were garlanded during the function.
Talking to Kashmir Reader Deputy Drug Controller Kashmir said that this was a farewell cum appreciation party given by the association for COVID warriors who gave their time, money and resources to help fight against coronavirus infection.
She said that the farewell party was also given to drug Controller officer Peerzada Tassaduq Hussain, who was transferred recently. She appreciated his work as a drug officer.
Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din said that Peerzada Tassaduq has been transferred and no longer works in Pampore jurisdiction.
“ During the past two years he has done a great job, he arranged medicine for COVID patients and equipment for quarantine centres for which I appreciate him,” he said.
He also appreciated chemists and druggists association for their good adhering to guidelines.
