Bandipora: Police in Bandipora arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession in Hajin.
Acting on a specific information police party of PS Hajin led by SHO PS-Hajin Inspector Zahoor Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Hajin Sajad Ahmad- laid a surprise naka at Hakbara Hajin and during checking suspicious movement of a person was noticed and he was apprehended and upon his personal search Charas weighing about 200 Grms was recovered from his possession.The accused has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Malla son of late Sultan Malla of Yarbalpora Hakabara Hajin. In this regard,a case has been registered under relevant sections of NDPS ACT in Police Station Hajin and further investigation into the matter has been started.
