Srinagar: Internal Quality Assurance Cell of GDC Pattan organized a meeting with its Alumni Association on Wednesday. The meeting was held to apprise the Alumni about various curricular, co-curricular and developmental activities of the college and to take feedback from them regarding the same. The meeting was inaugurated by the Staff Secretary, Dr. Imtiyaz Gul.
In his inaugural address he welcomed the guests and appreciated their acceptance of the invitation. Dr. Asiya Nazir, Convener, IQAC presented a detailed report of the activities conducted by the college and also briefed them about the upcoming programme. The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Ghulam Jeelani Quereshi apprised the guests about the languishing projects in the college. He also gave a detailed briefing about the completed projects and future plans of the college.
Nisar Rahi (President, Media Association, Pattan), Ghulam Mohiuddin, Reyaz Ahmad present among the Alumni association provided some feedback for further development of the college. They also interacted with the students of the college. They appreciated the efforts taken by the college administration in streamlining the academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. They applauded the activities conducted by the college despite Covid19 pandemic. Among the faculty members who interacted with the Alumni were Prof. Nazir Ahmad Kuttay, HoD Department of Sociology and Prof. Mohd. Amin Malik (HoD Deptt. of Political Science). Vote Of Thanks was presented by Prof. Sajad Sarwar HOD, Zoology & NSS Programme Officer of the College.)
