PAMPORE: A driver of a mobile died in a road accident near Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district early morning on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Riyaz Ahmad Bhat, resident of Lariyar Tral.
Officials told Kashmir Reader that the accident took place during intervening night of 22-23 September at 02:am near Kandizal crossing area of Kakapora police jurisdiction between Tata Mobile, bearing Registration number JK13C-6997 and Dumper vehicle bearing registration number JK18-3212 resulting into seriously injuries to drive of Tata mobile.
The injured was shifted to sub district hospital Pampore where he succumbed to his injuries.According to sources the driver’s mobile vehicle had alighted from his vehicle to answer nature’s call when a dumper vehicle turned turtle and he was hit in the accident.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities, police officials told Kashmir Reader.
Police Kakapora have registered a case in this regard. The driver of the dumper vehicle was arrested and the vehicle seized.
