Rajouri: Department of Computer Sciences, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri organised Webinar on ‘Application of Cognitive Technologies in Industry 4.0’ on 18th September 2021. About 150 participants consisting of Faculty members, Scientists, Research Scholars and Students from various institutions across the country joined and actively participated in the event.
Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice-Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University applauded the Department of Computer Sciences, BGSB University for organising the webinar. In a statement , Prof. Akbar said that the webinar has provided an opportunity for industrialists, researchers and academics to exchange and debate on relevant issues in relation to Industry 4.0 and its applications for the socio-economic development of our country.
Prof. Iqbal Parwez, Dean Academic Affairs and Prof. Asif Hussain, Dean School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences applauded the efforts of the Head of the Department Dr. Majid Basir Malik and faculty members for organising the webinar.
Dr. Qamar Rayees Khan presented the welcome address and threw light on the theme of the webinar. Er. Shantanu Kar, Global Head from Cognitive Technology, IQVIA was the invited resource person of this Webinar. He delivered a talk on “Application of Cognitive Technologies like Software Robotics, NLP and Deep learning in Industry 4.0” followed by question & answer session. Dr. Aadil Ahmad Lawaye, Co-ordinator of the Webinar presented a formal vote of thanks.
The proceedings of the Webinar were conducted by Mr. Naveed Jeelani, Research Scholar, Department of Computer Science. The webinar was coordinated by Dr. Aadil Ahamad Lawaye & Ms. Parveen Rana, Assistant professors Department of Computer Science, BGSB University, Rajouri.
