Cricketer dies during match in Baramulla

Baramulla: A young cricketer died due to cardiac arrest during a cricket match in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Officials said that Mohammad Rafiq Parray 30 son of Gulam Hassan Parray a resident of Janbazpora village of Baramulla fell unconscious on the ground during a cricket match at Gundkarim Khan Rafiabad.
The other cricketers and local people immediately shift him to a nearby hospital where doctors declare him dead.
The officials in the health department said that the cause of death is cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile police register a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on.
