KATHUA: Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kathua Brijnesh Kumari today disbursed an amount of Rs. 3 40 lakh as Education Assistance to the wards of 50 Registered Construction Workers.
The financial assistance is given under the scheme of Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB) which covers all those workers registered with the board through Assistant Labour Commissioner in the districts. The financial assistance given today for children/ wards of the registered workers who can pursue their educational goals.
District Development Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav appealed the construction workers to register themselves with the department and avail multiple assistance being provided by it for their welfare under JKBOCWWB. —PTI
