Srinagar: Basic Training Camps in Archery both for Boys and Girls held at Youth Hostel Srinagar concludes here on Monday.
Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman was the Chief Guest at the concluding function.
Speaking at the occasion Rehman encouraged the participants to work hard in their respective fields and be good citizens of the nation.
He enquired regarding the facilities available to the trainees during the course of the camp. He instructed DYSSO Srinagar to also conduct advanced coaching camps in the disciplines so that potential players get a platform to showcase their talent. Later, Director General YS&S, J&K facilitated the participants with course completion Certificates and medals. The chief guest also inaugurated Basic training camp in fencing for Girls.
He was flanked by District Youth Services & Sports Officer Srinagar, Balbir Singh, under whose supervision these training Camps are being conducted.
Basic Training camps in Archery, Fencing & Rifle Shooting are conducted here at Srinagar for the first time.
