PAMPORE: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama A.H Rafiqi along with DEPO Pulwama Manzoor Ahmad and ZEO Pampore Mushtaq Ahmad Dar visited various schools of Zone Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The schools which they visited are UPS Gundbal, BMS Shar Shali, UPS Wahab Sahab, UPS Jewan Sahib and KGBV Jewan Shaib Ladhoo area of Pampore Zone to monitor the community classes started by the dedicated teaching staff of zone Pampore, officials told Kashmir Reader.
The CEO Pulwama interacted with students to get the information of online classes and assignments through LMS or other means, which the students received during the peak period of covid-19. He stressed upon the teaching faculty of this zone to prioritize the student first and reach out to every student of this zone whatever best possible mode is required so that each student gets benefitted.
Some school grounds were seen polluted , so he stressed all the HOI’s of this zone to make it possible to visit your schools one or two days in a week till opening of schools so that cleanliness gets maintained of your schools, if possible make a separate log book for maintenance of records, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Moreover some schools and their staff members are only giving online classes where few students are attending and most students remain unattended. It is the duty of HOI’s of such schools to take necessary steps and make the staff members accountable to reach the most number of unattended students. It is also observed that teachers are teaching the students through LMS portal/community classes/Zoom classes etc but they are not maintaining the records properly.
All HOI’s are directed to check the LMS account of your school regularly and the e-contents uploaded are viewed or not by your students. Make it possible that each student would see the e-content through LMS account or reach out through other possible means.
The concerned HOI’s are wholly and Solly responsible to reach each student of your Institute and make a record on daily basis whether online/offline classes.
