PANAJI: The three-day national event “Empowering India 2026”, held at Goa from 18 to 20 July 2026, concluded with a valedictory ceremony attended by representatives of participating institutions from across the country.
On behalf of the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir), Prof. Shahid Rasool, Dean, Academic Affairs, received the Certificate of Participation. The delegates representing the University were also awarded certificates.
Speaking during the valedictory session, Prof. Shahid Rasool said the CUKashmir strongly encourages participation in such national platforms as they promote academic collaboration, research, innovation, and meaningful engagement among educational institutions, industry, and government organizations. He emphasized that such events provide opportunities for knowledge sharing, institutional networking, and showcasing the academic and research strengths of universities.
The three-day event witnessed participation from leading higher educational institutions, including National Institutes of Technology (NITs), NCERT, Government Departments of Goa, agricultural institutions, and other organizations from across the country. Through exhibitions and interactive sessions, the participants showcased their academic programmes, research achievements, innovations, and best practices.
During the event, CUKashmir received an encouraging response from students, academicians, researchers, government officials, and visitors, who interacted with the University’s representatives and appreciated its academic programmes, research initiatives, and student-centric activities. The University’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to promote excellence in higher education, research, innovation, and contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
