Women, accomplice arrested for theft in Khrew

Pampore: Jammu and Kashmir police in Khrew area of Pampore solved a theft case within 24 hours by arresting the two accused including a women and recovering the stolen goods including jewelry within 24 hours, a police officer said on Saturday.
Police said that a complaint was received from Adil Rashid Bhat son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Khrew Pampore, that a maidservant working in his house decamped with gold ornaments and some other household items.
Accordingly, a case under number 45/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Khrew and investigation taken up.
During investigation, Police team of Police Station Khrew led by SHO Adil Ashraf arrested accused from Lalpora, Kunzar area of Baramulla and on the disclosure of accused the stolen property get recovered.
Further another accused person Sajad Ahmad Mir son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Bhatpora, Kanihama who was accomplice of above accused person also get arrested during investigation of case.
The stolen items including golden jewelry and garments were recovered.
General Public is advised to get character and antecedent verification of individual from concerned Police Station before engaging them in any private job.
