Srinagar: Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) Jammu & Kashmir has expresses deep grief over the demise of Haji Muhammad Hussain Baba, the father of one of its founding members and head Mufti of Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Jammu Kashmir, Mufti Muhammad Yaqoob Baba of Raze Kadal (Rajouri Kadal) Srinagar.

MMU while paying tribute to the deceased for his religious and milli services said Haji Muhammad Hussain Baba was a pious, noble, sincere, gentle and hard working person who spent his life strictly according to the tenets of Islam and set an example for others to follow.

MMU on behalf of its members especially its incarcerated chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest since August 5, 2019, expresses condolence and solidarity with the bereaved Baba family especially Mufti Muhammad Yaqoob Baba and Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth leadership. It also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.

A delegation of MMU visited the residence of Mufti Muhammad Yaqoob Baba and expressed condolence and prayed fateha for the departed soul.
