BARAMULLA: A woman was killed , while her husband was among four people seriously injured when a passenger vehicle met with an accident in border town Uri of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Official sources said that a passenger cab bearing registration number JK04E/5046 skidded of the road in Nawarunda village of border town Uri and down into a deep gorge, resulting the injury of five people including a husband and wife, the injured were shifted to hospital where a lady Pakeeza Begum succumbed her injuries while her husband Khursheed Ahmad Kohli among four people received injuries.
Uri police registered a case and investigation has been started.
