For a Shopian resident, CRPF comes as saviour

PAMPORE: 110 battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) saved a resident of Shopian who fell unconscious near Saffron town Pampore while coming from district Shopian towards Srinagar.
The person, namely, Nasir Ahmad, 29, was driving his car from Shopian while coming towards Srinagar and fell unconscious near M/S 282.4 on national highway, ROP AOR of 110 Battalion.
His wife informed Commandant Yogesh Purohit about the untoward situation. Purohit and his escort provided first-aid treatment to the person and thereafter, shifted him to the Pampore Hospital in their unit ambulance, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Commandant Purohit told Kashmir Reader that while on duty, they found a car and an unconscious body in it.
“A woman, who turned out to be his wife later, was also in the vehicle. She requested for help and immediately swung in the rescue operation,” he said.
Purohit along with his team removed the man to SDH Pampore where, after advance treatment, his condition was stated to be stable.
