Seven shops sealed for violation of roster, SOPs in Pampore

Pampore: Tehsil office Pampore sealed seven shops and recovered a fine of rupees 12,900 from locals and different shopkeepers in Saffron town Pampore area of Pulwama district for violation of the roster and COVID-19 SOPs, officials told Kashmir Reader on Tuesday.
Officials told Kashmir Reader that team of officials of Tehsil office led by Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din and SHO Pampore Mohammad Younis Khan carried out inspection of various markets in the Saffron town during inspections seven shops were sealed for violation of roster. They added that a fine of rupees 12,900 was recovered from locals and different shopkeepers for violations of COVID SOPs.
“We have intensified drives for implementation for COVID -19 SOP’s, so far seven shops were sealed for violation of roaster and rupees 12,900 were imposed as fine,” Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, told Kashmir Reader, adding that intention not to punish but convey to people that situation is very grim particularly in populated towns.
” We have to follow SOP’s to stop towns from becoming epicentre of the infection, the shopkeepers are requested to follow roasters and allow no crowd to gather around their shops. The transporters have permission for board only 50 per cent of the full capacity of passengers,” he said.
