28 drug peddlers arrested in Baramulla during this month: police

BARAMULLA: Baramulla police on Tuesday said that four more drug peddlers has been arrested in the district and the toll of arrested drug peddlers who were arrested in the April month now reaches 28.
Police said that a Naka checking was laid at Batpora area of Kunzar Tangmarg and a Santro car bearing registration number JK04B-3071 was stopped by the Naka party, during search 350 grams of Charas like substance was recovered and four people including Ishfaq Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik resident of Khag Budgam, Noor Mohammad Malik son of Gulam Mohmmad Malik of Shunglipora Khag, Abid Khaliq Malik son of Abdul Khaliq Malik of Shunglipora Khag and Nasir Ahmad Bhat son of Farooq Ahmad Bhat of Khag Budgam who is also an SPO were took into the custody. In this connection police station Kunzar registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on.
