Kupwara: Kupwara police found dead body of a government employee in nearby forests on Monday under mysterious conditions.
Police said that some locals spotted a dead body in Jumgund forest range and they inform the Kupwara police, later a team of police reached the spot and took the body into their custody, the deceased was later identified as Mohammad Ashraf Qurashi son of Ghulam Mustafa Qurashi a resident of Zurhama Kupwara.
They said the deceased was an employee of the animal husbandry department.
Meanwhile, police register a case and further investigation is going on.
