Handwara: A human skeleton was found in the woods of Rajwar Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday, officials said.
They said that some locals spotted a human skeleton in the forest area of Kehepora area of Rajwar Handwara on Monday and they forward its information to Handwara police, who reached the spot and shifted the skeleton to district hospital Handwara for examination and for other verification.
“Yes police shifted a human skeleton to district hospital Handwara on Monday for examination, however we constitute a team of experts who will check its gender, age, cause and date of death, if needed we will shift its samples to Srinagar for further examination” a senior doctor at district hospital Handwara said.
Meanwhile a case has been registered by local police under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on.
