BARAMULLA: Baramulla police on Tuesday said that they arrested a norcotic dealer in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district and 700 grams of charas were recovered from his possession.
They said that on a specific information police station Kunzar arrested a notorious charas dealer identified as Reyaz Ahmad Mir son of Gulam Ahmad Mir resident of Beewa Kunzar and recovered 700 grams of charas from his possession. They said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered against the said person and further investigation is on.
It is mentioned here that eight people involved in drug peddling were held by Sopore police on Monday and a large number of banned drugs were recovered from their possession.
