Baramulla: Police in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district recovered a stolen cow and arrest three thieves.
Police said that a person Hilal Ahmad resident of Kongamdara reported that in the intervening night of 26 January one of his cow was stolen by unknown thieves and a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in police post Kongamdara.
Following the complaint, police swung into action and arrested the three thieves including a butcher and recovered the stolen cow and initiated the more investigation into the matter. They said that butcher was the mastermind and motivated two other persons for the crime.
A case FIR number 11/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation is on.
