KUPWARA: Five members of a family from Meeyal Kupwara were shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar after they fell unconscious after they ate some dried vegetables / herbs that were sourced from the forests.
According to locals after falling unconscious the family including two minors were immediately referred to hospital at Handwara and after receiving medical attention there , they were shifted to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment.
MS at the Handwara hospital Dr Ajaz Ahmad said that all the patients have been referred to Srinagar for advance treatment.
The five members of a family have been identified as Ab Guffar khan ,Javid Ahmad Khan, Masooda Begum, Basit Majeed and Hamid Majeed
