AWANTIPORA: Piping ceremony of recently promoted Sub-Inspectors as Inspectors was held at DPO Awantipora on Friday.
The promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks by SSP Awantipora Tahir Saleem who expressed happiness over their promotion.
The officers who were decorated with rank include Mohammad Younis Khan and Adil Ashraf Bhat, police officials told Kashmir Reader.
On the occasion, SSP Awantipora Tahir Saleem, SDPO Awantipora and DYSP Awantipora congratulated the promoted officers and advised them to remain committed towards their duties and ensure better public service. The promoted officers pledged to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm.
During the colourful ceremony, all the newly promoted Officers expressed their gratitude towards the Police department for conferring their next ranks and timely up gradation.
Other senior officers of the Police district were also present on the occasion and congratulated the promoted officers.
