Man allegedly killed in scuffle between two families in Sopore

Baramulla: A man was allegedly killed in a scuffle between the two families in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
The scuffle broke out between the two relative families in Tarzoo village of Sopore outskirts on Friday morning in which a middle aged person received serious head injuries when he was allegedly hit by another person, the injured was shifted to sub district hospital Sopore, where he was declare as dead. The deceased person was identified as Khaleel Ahmad Sheikh, 50 son of Gulam Mohammad Sheikh of Astan Mohla, Tarzoo Sopore.
The deceased was the father of six children.
Locals said that both the parties used axe’s during the scuffle in which one received serious injuries due to which he was killed.
Soon after the incident teams of police rushed to the spot for the investigation of the case.
