SHOPIAN: Seven newly elected Municipal Councilors of Shopian, today, took oath here at the district administrative complex. The oath was administered by the Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin.
The Deputy Commissioner congratulated the elected councilors and urged upon them to meet the expectations of people. He exhorted upon them to work in tandem for the development of their areas and betterment of people.
The DC assured them of full support from the district administration in taking forward the development programmes during their tenure.
Among others present on the occasion were ADC Dr. Ab Aziz, Executive Officer Municipal Committee and other concerned.
