BARAMULLA: A Kashmiri Pandit also an employee of the revenue department was found dead in Veriwan area of Baramulla on Baramulla Uri road Sunday morning.
Police sources said that, some locals spotted a dead body along the roadside and they informed the police, later a team of Baramulla police reached the spot and took the body into their custody, later shifted to hospital for investigation.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Kaphoor son of Krishan Lal Kaphoor of Nagrota Jammu presently residing in Pandith colony Veriwan Baramulla. It is said that the deceased was an employee of the revenue department posted in DC office Baramulla and was living in Pandit Colony Veriwan along with other Pandith employees. The cause of death is yet not confirmed however police start its investigation.
