Pampore: PDP nominated candidate for Pampore Block for ongoing DDC elections, Tazeem, visited many areas of the constituency on Friday.
She visited along with a number of supporters campaigned in Wuyan, Mandakpal and Ladhoo Gussainad areas of Pampore seeking votes for herself.
The DDC constituency in Pampore Block is going to polls on 19 December. Around 4 aaCandidates are in Fray for the constituency, which is reserved for women.
She held a series of meetings with villagers who apprised her about their problems including ban on stone quarries in their area.
She assured villagers in Woyan, Mandakpal and Ladhoo Gussainad she will work with utmost zeal to mitigate their problems if she wins from the constituency.
“I filed nomination papers from the constituency and i seek the blessings of the villagers. I assure them that I will raise the issue of a ban on stone quarries as it causes wide unemployment in the area,” Tazeem told Kashmir Reader.
