BARAMULLA: A man died after he fell down from a wooden fllume in Boniyar area of Uri on Sunday morning.
A police official said that a man identified as Jehangir Ahmad Khan 40 son of Rahmatullah Khan of Rampur Boniyar fell down from a wooden flume nearby children’s park Boniyar along the Baramulla Uri road, resulting in he received serious injuries. The other people shift him to the nearby public health centre (PHC) Boniyar where doctors declare him dead.
BMO Boniyar, Dr Parvaiz Masoodi said that after legal formalities the body was handed over to his family for last rites, he said the cause of death is serious injuries and loss of blood.
The local sources said that the person was mentally challenged.
Police station Boniyar, registerd a case under relevant sections of law and investigation has been started.
