PAMPORE: Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din on Saturday held a meeting with Namberdars and Chowkidars at Tehsil officer Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
During the meeting various issues like encroachment of state land, Kahcharaie land and Conversion of Abi Awal, and illegal constructions on Saffron land and role of Lumberdars and Chowkidars were discussed.
Tehsil officials told Kashmir Reader that a meeting of Numbardars and Chowkidars Pampore , Khrew and areas of Tehsil Pampore was held under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din in his office chamber.
The Numbardars and Chowkidars were directed to keep close eye on their villages and on one who violates government norms like encroachment upon Kahcharie /state land, Abi Awal land and illegal constructions on Saffron land in their jurisdiction. Also directed keep eye on the market and one who sells items on exuberant rates, Inform without wasting time direct to the undersigned for further course of action. If anyone found and failed to report action will be taken against the numberdar/Chowkidar. Also we are directed to start recovery of Zari Chuula.
Naazir of Tehsil Pampore Mir Murawat Hussain and others were also present during the meeting.
