SRINAGAR: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Thursday refuted reports that it has been allotted land allotment under Roshni Act.
A spokesperson of the KCCIstated that we have been allotted land on lease vide Government order No.REV(NDK)203 of 2000 Dated: 24-11-2000 and subsequently we are paying rent under the allotment.
The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry being registered under Companies Act and could have never got the settlement done under Roshni Act.
Now today some daily News Papers have carried the news of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the beneficiaries under the Roshni Act which is completely false.
