2 civilians injured in grenade attack in Pulwama

 

Srinagar: Two civilians were injured after suspected militants on Wednesday evening lobbed a grenade on government forces in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.

The duo received splinter injuries after the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the road, a senior police officer said.
He said the two civilians were later shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

The whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.(GNS)
