JKTDC retired employees meet Commissioner Secretary Tourism

SRINAGAR: Delegation of JKTDC retired employees meet Commissioner Secretary Tourism. A delegation of JKTDC retired employees association under the convenorship of Haji Mohammad Jabbar Rather held a meeting with the Managing Director JKTDC Srinagar in his office chambers at TRC Srinagar.
The convener Jabbar highlighted the demands of the retirees of JKTDC who retired from the corporation services in the year 2016,2017,2018 and 2019. The demands put forth to the Managing Director include the release of 7th pay commission gratuity, leave salary and the pay difference arrears.
The Managing Director was apprised that these arrears are due to the JKTDC retired employees since January 01, 2016 but the JKTDC management for unknown reasons has not released the same in our favour till date when a sufficient amount of Rs 16 crores was released by the government in February last for the purpose.
The Managing Director JKTDC hailed the role of Commissioner /Secretary Tourism Deptt Jammu and Kashmir Sarmad Hafiz Sahib who is very keen to release the said arrears in favour of the retirees. The MD assured the delegation that their demands are genuine and shall be fulfilled within the shortest possible time as the JKTDC is expected to receive funds from the government besides the outstanding with various departments. The delegation thanked the Managing Director for his positive approach towards the JKTDC retirees
