Block Divas observed in Pampore, status of grievances filed reviewed

Pampore: As part of ongoing “Jan Abhiyan”launched by the government preceding the upcoming Back to Village-3, Block Divas was on Tuesday celebrated in Saffron town Pampore.
The Block Diwas was held under the supervision of Tehsildar of Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din in townhall Pampore where people registered their grievances.
“This was second part of the Jan Abhiyan, the first part was held on 16 of this month,” Tehsildar Pampore, who is also Nodal Officer for the programme said.
He added that during today’s programme they reviewed various grievances which were registered during first programme on 16 September.
“The works which are easy to execute will be taken immediately and while as big projects will take some time,” he said, adding they will be reviewing status of today’s grievances in next programme.
The programme also witnessed the participation of a huge number of people with the strict adherence to COVID-19 SOP including maintenance of social distancing and use of masks.
BDO Pampore, BDC, Chairman, AEE PHE, AEE PWD, AEE R&B, Medical Officer Sheep husbandy, Social welfare officer, forest officials, social Welfare officer and other Tehsil officers public attended the Block Diwas programme.
The Tehsildar Pampore sanctioned domicile and income certificates to various candidates, distributed sports kits among school children, gave baby kits to newly born girl children under BBBP scheme and sanctioned letters under Ladli Beti Scheme.
