PAMPORE: A Jan Sunwayi Programme under the Jan Abhiyan was held at tehsil office in Saffron town Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Raghav Langer.
The Jan Sunwai programme was held between 10:30 to 1pm during which around 22 delegations of Saffron town met Langer.
The delegations include Auqaf Committee Pampore, Civil society, representatives youth and sports groups , MEI school management and others.
The Auqaaf Committee Pampore General Secretary Mohammad Sultan Shah raised issue of dilapidated conditions of various public parks in Pampore, construction of bund around Jhelum and issue of parking in SDH Pampore. Other delegations sought his attention for developing playfield in Pampore.
The Depty Commissioner redressed some of the grievances on the spot and for others he issued directions to concerned departments for their redressal.
