Pampore: A Multipurpose Camp was organized on Friday for 4 backward villages of Nagander, Zantrag, Bathen and Satpukhran by Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din at Nagander Eidgah.
The Camp started with a public Darbar with participation of Sector officers from 17 departments. Residents of 4 backward villages raised their grievances related to public service delivery, availability of essential services and developmental projects. All the issues were discussed threadbare with the general public for early redressal.
A painting competition was also organized for the students of 4 backward villages, in which 62 students participated. On the basis of on the spot evaluation, top five performers were awarded mementos, appreciation certificates and cash prizes.
A public service delivery camp was also organized on the sidelines during which 271 domicile certificates were issued on the spot with minimal formalities. Tehsildar Pampore said that Public Outreach programmes would be intensified in the coming days and more such multipurpose camps would be organized in the at different locations of Tehsil Pampore as a build up to the third phase of Back to Village Programme, which shall be held from 2nd to 12th October.
